I’m a communications & events professional.
10+ years’ experience in charities, healthcare, entertainments and retail.
In 2014, I began my career in print marketing in the not‑for‑profit sector.
I led digital communications for The Prince’s Trust. I built the charity’s influencer marketing programme, managing high‑profile creators such as Tom and Giovanna Fletcher, Fleur de Force and Liv Purvis. The programme reached over 2 million people and generated £52k of pro‑bono content.
In 2019, I pivoted my career - from not-for-profit to the corporate world.
I left the not-for-profit sector to take up a Brand Manager position at Merlin Entertainments. I was responsible for a multi-million pound marketing budget, delivering TV adverts, paid and organic social media campaigns, and a customer loyalty scheme.
In 2020, I shifted my career from brand marketing to employee comms.
During the pandemic, I led internal communications for Bupa’s digital transformation and corporate responsibility (ESG) functions, where I spearheaded an Internships Programme and work experience placement opportunities.
I recently led internal communications and events for 13,000 colleagues across 300 Currys stores, where I launched a sales incentive programme that secured over £1m in supplier funding and delivered a 350‑guest Superstar Awards event at Silverstone.
In 2026, I established Jess Albone Creations Limited.
I provide a range of services including: internal communications, marketing campaigns and event management support. Alongside my consultancy work, I lead The Creative Shift - a career development service supporting creative industry professionals as they navigate their next step.
